12 HOURS SHARING GOODNESS

“We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20).  LovesIntention is an ambassador ministry, serving the community with compassion and generosity of heart; an authentic light to witness to those that thirst and hunger in their dark and broken places, yearning for elusive peace, joy, and love.  12 Hours Sharing Goodness is a campaign to evoke God’s Holy Spirit in us; touching lives in practical and supernatural ways.

I’ve been blessed to live in the Umpqua Valley on the southern exposure of Red Hill; surrounded by madrone, fir, and oak trees, and abundant wildlife.  With deer trails and a logging road, walking in fellowship with my savior, Jesus Christ, has given comfort and spiritual discernment.   There are many stories that God’s creation has taught me while in leisure or working on the property.

The most poignant story is about a 100 foot madrone tree that stretches out at a 60 degree angle from roots emerging from a bank cut-out.  While the tree’s age exceeds 75 years and the center of gravity is at least 15 feet from the bank, it’s profound how the roots hold it from falling.  The metaphor is what sustains humanity from falling into an abyss when life’s storms, trials, and tragedy test the roots?  In my 64 year life path detoured by right arm paralysis, oral cancer, and divorce, my Christian faith has been stressed tested and revealed through His divine grace and strength; redeemed at the cross; with roots entwined with eternity DNA:  Destined to Nobly Ascend.

The essence of 12 Hours Sharing Goodness is rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Through a unity of purpose, the campaign will yield a harvest.  “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17).

On August 26, 2017, 12 teams with 12 members on each team will launch the 12 hour campaign in Douglas County, Oregon.  Team members will impact targeted areas of the community.  The Core Leadership Team will guide the campaign to advance faith, hope, and charity.  Does this campaign to serve compassionately resonate in your heart?  To express your interest to learn more, consider contacting me.
